+ Special Notes: When our clients came to us, they knew what they wanted to feel when they walked into their kitchen each morning. They wanted to be at ease and at home. Together, we landed on a palette that has become one of our all-time favorites. One with crisp white inset shaker cabinetry on the perimeter and a rich pecan stain on the white oak island. On paper, the contrast sounds simple. In person, it stops you in your tracks.
Kitchen Design
The Warm White and Pecan kitchen relies on a classic, traditional aesthetic to create an inviting sense of warmth. The expansive, wrap-around perimeter features warm white cabinetry and white countertops, providing a vast amount of workspace and storage. At the center, a large pecan-stained wood island acts as a focal point, packed with deep drawer storage and comfortable seating for four. Intentional details like glass-front upper cabinets, open shelving, a built-in banquette, and brass lantern pendants give this design a timeless, lived-in, welcoming feel.
Butler’s Pantry Design
The partnering butler’s pantry continues the main kitchen’s traditional charm. It features the same warm white cabinetry and elegant brass hardware, now paired with rich wood countertops. An integrated beverage refrigerator, glass-front cabinetry, and a built-in wine rack make this compact space both highly functional and a cohesive extension of the kitchen design.
Bath Design
The primary bathroom reconnects with the traditional, warm theme. The vanity mimics the same cabinetry style and wood tones previously used in the home. Classic details like white penny tile floors, a freestanding soaking tub, and brass plumbing fixtures tie back to the home’s timeless appeal while creating a bright and airy retreat.
